Add a Map

Overview

The Map button allows visitors to tap a button to open your business's location using their device's maps application. Visitors can then quickly get directions to your address from their current location.

Troubleshooting

Can't find my address

The Map widget sometimes has trouble finding a specific address. If it can't find your business, the best solution is to search for your business on a mapping site and copy your location's link into a button widget.

I have multiple locations

If you have multiple locations, consider using the Multi Location feature instead of multiple Map widgets.map4.png

It's not working on my phone but it works on my desktop

The reason you might see this issue is because when a user clicks on that specific button, it calls up a specific action on the device.

If a user's device (whether it is a computer, tablet, or mobile device) doesn't have any program assigned to that action, it will not do anything when clicked. Likewise, if they have a specific application set as a default for that action, it will always launch that application.

To fix this, the user must examine their device's configuration for opening certain apps and buttons on the internet.
