Google no longer able to fetch my sites, errors in google mobile tester and search comnsole

Hi

I am almost close to a hear attack here.  Very upset with google.

All of a sudden,(everything was fine a few months ago)  Google is telling me that it cannot scan my sites, and I will n o longer be in google search.

When I go and use google mobile friendly  tester at:  https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly

for almost all my sites , it says: "OOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG"

it wil not connect

, although when using a mobile phone, it does connect to the mobile site right away.

but it Scares me about google not seeing it anymore.

Also, if I use google search console, for some of my sites, it says that my site is not on google anymore, and that it cannot fetch the site because of a 'robots.txt' file is BLOCKING IT!

this is not true because I have a robots file on my desktop versions, but they are set to ALLOW ALL. I tried deleting the robot file but that did not help.

It also shows me a bunch of things that are in duda mobile code that slows it down, things that I did not put in myself:

like the ones showed here:

https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?view=fetch-info&id=Ak0vKFJxH9ENaf9AKj9WCA

I read that google now crawls the mobile sites and not the desktop, so that is very scary now because I cannot control what is on duda mobile only codes.

the redirect I use on my desktop pages are like this one:

<script src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/static.dudamobile.com/DM_redirect.js"></script>
<script>DM_redirect("http://mobile.dudasite.com/site/eotraveldestinationseo");</script>

I would appreciate any help here

thanks

Dennis

I have spent the whole day working on this

    no luck

THe mobile sites I have are not being recognized by google

and google is starting to send me messages saying that the site is not mobile friendly.

    It shows an error like:

    https://www.rosemaryrein.com/?no_redirect=true

but I took care of that long ago by getting rid of the 'classic view' on each page.

if i try to go to a mobile url from a desktop, I get a 403 error

here are some sites that will not test as mobile friendly anymore:

    -------------------

    desktops:  https://www.rosemaryrein.com/

    https://www.gpsrealestate.com/

    https://www.eotraveldestinations.com/

    that is just a few

    BUT...

over 3 days I have been trying to get the mobile sites to load faster,

now most mobile testers Will test them as mobile friendly

but Only after I attemp 3 or 4 times.

It seems there are too many resources in all of them not loading

On most sites that occassionaly get a pass from mobile tester, it says that the page only PARTIALLY loaded

and says that this is the reason:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    this is very serious

I don't want google to not index me anymore and that will happen, and I lose all my old clients because they are not on google anymore. I hope this is not a way of Duda forcing people to abandoming their old investment to get responsive sites.

    please help

    thanks

    HELP?????????

This morning Google is not connecting to any of my duda mobile only sites

If I try many times, it sometimes connects.

I may be taken off google search because of this so what is the purpose of having a website?

Google mobile friendly test will not connect.

and google search console will not either

and either says it is not mobile friendly, or gives an error.

So is there any help out there

these are some sites that will not connect to mobile friendly test:

https://www.mspressure.com/  (this site will be removed from google soon because of this issue)

    https://www.eotraveldestinations.com/

    https://www.toonicervskirtings.com/

    https://www.kustaoilfieldservices.com/

    https://www.gpsrealestate.com/

    https://www.rosemaryrein.com/

I also cannot understand why all my duda mobile sites come back with a message when testing their mobile friendliness with messages saying that they could not load some Resources, like google analytics, and Double click

when I do not have any of those set up on my mobile sites. If Duda put these in for their own use, they should delete them?

I have seen that all my sites have duda scripts relating to google, doubleclick, facebook

and on one of my sites, I do not have ANY of those things on my main page.

If I remove all of them manually from the main pages HTML, and save it,

it reverts back to the original code

    it does not save.

    What is going on?

    can someone help please?

    thanks

    Hi there,

What I can see and what I checked shows here, example:

    https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly

    tested: m.rosemaryrein.com

    https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?id=gMPGmj_a8cmzZiI4_7Ai7A

That is a paid site with an m.domain.com >>> m.rosemaryrein.com

    This one: https://www.gpsrealestate.com/

is a free site with no m.domain.com, instead a Duda domain.

    http://mobile.dudamobile.com/site/gpsrealestate

Before you start upgrading sites, can you check with Google if this is the issue? The URL that is set to be recognized can be the issue.

    https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?id=y33JjfgrCd7-WMuDZDkifQ

Please check if the issue is with the NON m.domain.com.

    Let us know,

    Hi

    thanks alot for responding

no I think you are wrong in your guess..

and of course I set up my redirects right....

    here are the facts:

    1.  I have had some free sites and some paid sites for Years,

I have Never had an issue until the last month or more.

    2. You said you got a positive result on https://www.rosemaryrein.com/ ??

well, I got a negative result. the mobile friendly tester did not connect, it said "oops something went wrong'

the tester from google is inconsistant.

the paid sites will connect and say its mobile friendly,, and sometimes it will not connect.

also,   the free sites will connect and give a positive result also.

It is hit and miss, you have to try a few times.

    3. When you connect to one of my sites with the mobile tester, and IF it connects and says it mobile friendly

click on the top link that says: "page loading issues / view details"

here I think (just guessing) where the issues are:

it shows that the page cannot load many resources.

    look at the resources.

some of these resources are ones that I have never had on either my desktop OR my mobile site.

-Others are resources that were on my desktop site, but I deleted them from my mobile site.

    here is an example:

    on   https://www.eotraveldestinations.com/

on its desktop site, there is a slideshow script along with its images.

When I set up the duda mobile site, I  started with the desktop version on my mobile page, but then I deleted all the slideshow scripts and all the other crap.

so all the resources that googlebots are scanning in their mobile tester are seeing things that do not exist on my mobile home page (visually).

If I go to my mobile homepage and click on the "page HTML"  I see all kinds of things in the code that are from my desktop home page, and do not exist on what I set up on my mobile page.

I manually deleted them, and it helped, but then when I login to my duda account after, the same code is back on my mobile home age html code. It does not save.

I think maybe that google is seeing stuff from my desktop page and duda has some issues. I do not have 'sync with desktop' checked. It (maybe) is taking too long for googlebots to load the mobile site because of resources it cannot find. Why those resources still are there, I do not know.

    4. This is important. I cannot . If google deletes my sites from google search, then I am in trouble.

Google has never had an issue before with ALL my duda sites .

Now google has said that they are now indexing the MOBILE VERSIONS FIRST.. for their search engine. This is a big issue and wil cause problems for many people. I can make all kinds of SEO enhancements on the desktop site that gives  me better google rankings but now that google indexes based on the mobile site, I have little control of the code on the mobile site.

    thanks

I am still having trouble with mobile only sites.

I have mentioned it before but have not had the answers. The last post was not the answer because I have the same issue with a duda mobile only domain

    or a m.domain.com

    it makes no difference.

The problem is that google often tells me that my site is not mobile friendly. This problem has been arounf for many months

but......it has got better. I have only had it happen 2 times in 3 months.

the problems I can see is that google cannot load the mobile site fast enough , and duda has all kinds of things in their code that slow it down and that google does not like.

for example. Third Party code that I did Not put on my page:

here is an example of third party code that I did Not put on my page and cannot get rid of, if I manually delete it, it comes back

    ______________

    Google CDN
    123 KB
    203 ms
    Google Analytics
    19 KB
    150 ms
    Snowplow
    19 KB
    16 ms
    Facebook
    114 KB
    13 ms
    Google Tag Manager
    29 KB
    0 ms
    Other Google APIs/SDKs
    2 KB
    0 ms
    Amazon Web Services
    1 KB
    0 ms
    Google/Doubleclick Ads
    1 KB
    0 ms

I have a link on my mobile site for facebook, but that is it, I do not have all the others. The tester below shows alot more code that causes slow downs.

so here is a link that shows all the issues that google is pointing out to me: for the domain:  www.toonicervskirtings.com

    https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.toonicervskirtings.com%2F

is there a way to get rid of some of the duda code that I did not choose to insert, and is not needed to run the mobile page?

    thanks

    Dennis

    ok

    this is getting frustrating

as I have said, there is all kinds of codes in my mobile sites that slow the loading by google. Then I get messages from google saying that is

    not mobile friendly.

I said that there are all kinds of third party scripts that I did not put on my bobile site

they are not even in my desktop site.

I do not use syncing after the original mobile site is made.

now......when I go to the duda editor, and look at the HTML code of a page, I see things in the code that I did  not put in.

GUESS what?  I can manually make changes to the html code in mobile editor

If I remove any code in the HTML page, the SAVE button does  not work anym ore

    - on amny of my mobile sites

    nothing saves,

    so why is that?

I am not getting any support here.

    thanks

    please help

its bad enough that there is code (Ie; favebook, etc.) that is code in my sites that I did not put in,

but worse that I cannot even change it.

When google checks my mobile site

it sees things and comments on things that are on my Desktop site

its as though it is not being redirected to the mobile site fast enough.

I am having similar issues where only the homepage (non mobile) site redirects to the m.domain, com from my mobile device

Every other page when accessed from an external link goes to duda 404 page.

This means that google will only ever index my homepage. This issue has been ongoing for at least 2 months

Does this have anything to do with the redirect code?

I am currently using the following:

    <script src="https://static.dudamobile.com/DM_redirect.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

    <script type="text/javascript">DM_redirect("http://m.website.com");</script>

Its sad because I am still paying for this subscription and there seems to be no support from duda on this

    Hi

I do not know if I can be of help but here are a few tips:

    1.  there are some old cell phones that have default browsers that give a 404 error to duda redirected mobile sites.

If you get a 404 error, try another cellphone (newer)  or try google chrome.

    2. for the redirect script looks strange to me

try this script and just replace 'http://m.yoursite.com' with your own domain

    <script src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/static.dudamobile.com/DM_redirect.js"></script>
    <script>DM_redirect("http://m.yoursite.com");</script>

    3. duda has code thatv slows down loading and it may not even have been put on your mobile site at all. There is not much you can do about it,

but google is a pain in tha behind because it is too picky as to how long a mobile site takes to load, and it will give you error notices.

The best thing to do is try to slim down and simplify your mobile site as much as possible.

to start with, use this site to see how fast your site loads, when it runs the test, there are 2 tabs, one for desktop and one for mobile try both, you want the mobile site to be above 50% or 60%

if not, then try to fix it.

    here is the speed test:

    https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

here are some tips to speed the mobile site up:

    1. google does not like the code that lets your mobile use choosing to use 'classic view'

at the bottom of your mobile sites, you may have a 'classic view' link option in small letter,

you want to get rid of that,

    to do that,

    a)  login to your duda account, and go to your sites home page

    b) in the top right , click on the startwheel and click on 'CSS & HTML'

    c) click on 'global CSS'

scroll to the bottom of your CSS code and insert this code at the bottom JUST BEFORE:

    /*KEPT_CSS_END*/

    insert this there: #mobileFooter {
    display:none !important;
    }

so to be clear:  at the bottom of the global CSS code you should see this:

    #mobileFooter {
    display:none !important;
    }
    /*KEPT_CSS_END*/

NOw go back to home page and publish your site, check the preview to see if the page is still the same except the 'classic view' option is gone.

    4. try to not use facebook links, and keep the number of images to a minimum. also try to avoid fancy slideshows, especially ones that you imported from your desktop site.

and try to avoid any links that use extermal resources or scripts.

    keep it simple.

now try the speed test again.

    if its better

try google mobile test again and see if it works.

then see if the 404 error is still there.

    good luck

    Hi Dennis

    Thanks for your assistance.

    I used the redirect code

    <script src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/static.dudamobile.com/DM_redirect.js"></script>
    <script>DM_redirect("http://m.yoursite.com");</script>

It works the same as the previous code, only the homepage redirects to the mobile version from external links, all other page URLs redirect to duda 404 page.

I did manage to remove the "classic view' option which was good, thank you for that.

At the moment the google page speed for mobile is at 56%.

I may look into creating a new site from scratch using the duda editor and one of their templates, the current situation means that google is only reading the homepage of the mobile site :(
