Mobile Redirect

I've got a number of sites with a desktop we host, and redirect to Duda's mobile website.  The desktop site is secure, but the mobile site is not.

The redirect is working fine on multiple sites, but not this one:

https://www.milandhomeconstruction.com/

I believe I mirrored the redirect script to match other working sites, but it's not working for me, so there must be something I'm missing.  Please help!

To be clear, I don't expect the mobile version to be secure.  However, the redirect is not working from mobile, and did prior to this week.

    When I enter:

https://milandhomeconstruction.com into a browser on mobile, it's still bringing up the desktop version.

    If I enter:

http://m.milandhomeconstruction.com into a mobile browser, the duda mobile site will come up as expected.

However, the redirect is no longer working for some reason, and we cannot decipher why.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The site redirects correctly for me.

To make sure, this is the script:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://static.mobilewebsiteserver.com/redirect.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript">Mobile_redirect("http://YOUR_MOBILE_DOMAIN_HERE");</script>

(replace YOUR_MOBILE_DOMAIN_HERE above with your mobile domain URL)

    Let us know,

    It's a strange problem.

It appears to force a secure redirect from Chrome on iOS in a standard browser.  If I access from an incognito window, then it works.

Tried on Safari - same result - no joy on standard window, but accessible on private window.

Edge - would not allow http connection on standard or private window.

I did update our redirect code to match what you've provided above.

The inconsistent results on mobile is a big problem and we'd like to get it resolved.

This problem remains.  And I have other sites that working just fine.  I don't understand it, and would really like to figure something out.

    Hi,

I am unable to see and replicate the issue. Acessing: https://www.milandhomeconstruction.com/ on my iphone XR most updated version software and browsers, safari and chrome both pull up the site redirected correctly.

Then it truly is a mystery.   I too have an iPhone XR.  I just updated it to the latest operating system, cleared my browser cache, and went to milandhomeconstruction.com.  The redirect landed me on the mobile page, but refused to go to HTTP:// on a standard tab:
